Really Safira, Really?

Can I say that I’m jealous? No, not in romantic way whatsoever.

I want to travel. I want to go some place I’ve never been before. I want to see the world. But I never have the guts to go alone. Besides, isn’t weird? Going around the place like a lost puppy?

Friends? I do have them. But whenever I asked them to go, they will like “buat apa?” “Ada apa disana?” “Apa yang mau dilihat?” “naik apa?” “Gak ah, ribet saf” or they just want to go ghost hunting because that’s the only thing “we can do” in that particular place. Yeah, right. I don’t want to disturb that life like I don’t want them to disturb mine.

Sometimes having that kinda friends is quiet boring. All they do just going nowhere. I saw others exploring while I’m sitting here, complaining. Make sense, huh?

I feel like I’m hanging around the wrong crowd sometimes. Pictures have been showed in front of my face every time there were long weekend free times from another crowd. Holiday trip. Somewhere, somehow. Friends, couples.

Can I have friend who wants to explore, with me? Please? Or just have the guts to go alone. I’m not scared of being lost. I’m scared of the crimes that have been getting out of control lately. Not everything as nice as it seems.
I need a getaway. Anything besides going to the mall, goes shopping, or sees movies.

You know, it’s almost two years since I’m moving out and all my route was just campus, my place, and malls. Like, really? Not fun. While I have all the free times I want and all I did just... that? Really Safira? Really?

She Admires him

He was standing there with a cup of coffee in his hand. His favorite songs were blasting through his headphones in full volume. He matched his t-shirt with his old blue jeans today. A plaid shirt was put over his shoulder. His backpack clung into one of his shoulder like a treasure hidden there. It looked heavy.

He looked around as if hoping something could come around. He was observing his surrounding like a tiger ready to catch its prey. His stare was intense. His glasses couldn't even hide them. Once in a while he ran his fingers through his already messy hair and played around with his shark-tooth-like necklace. You can tell he hasn't sleep well last night. But deep down, he hoped people couldn't tell. He is tired. But he pretend like it was nothing.

She was sitting a meter away from where he stood. She was joking around with her friends while steal a look or two toward him. She rarely saw him. But when she did, she couldn't help but stare. She admires him. She admires the way he explained things to people. She admires his kindness toward others. She admires his critical mind.

But somehow, she hoped he didn't find out.

Thursday

The day started with me pouring some hot water on me in the morning while having breakfast, then looking in the mirror and realizing I’m gaining few pounds (lol), dropped my ipad case somewhere along the way, hydrogeology test at 11 which made me bored look at the calculator, remote sensing test at 1.30 pm which made me feel like I was writing a novel, then forgot where did I put my cell phone annnnddd it turned out that I left it at my friend’s car, my friend and I will meet again in two days because we have no class tomorrow, so I must survive without my phone until Saturday. Yeah. What a nice Thursday.
